Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Moved To November 19th

The highly anticipated dystopian RPG will see its release date pushed back November 19th. This is not the first time the release date has been moved back, as the previous delay had announced September 17th as the date for Cyberpunk’s release. The original date for the CD Projekt Red game was April 16th of this year.

Smart Decision by CD Projekt Red

Honestly, though one can easily understand why fans would be disappointing in the push back, this may be a really good thing in the long run. Firstly, with the release of Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X approaching, CD Projekt would want the game ready for these next-generation consoles.

Secondly, to many games have been released in recent memory that did not deliver on what was promised. Those pre-purchasing games like Batman: Arkham Knight on PC received a game that often did not even work. The game was so bug ridden that it was completely removed from Steam for purchase. The practice of releasing a broken game and then patching later on is awful, and the patient fans of Cyberpunk 2077 deserve better than Arkham Knight.
