After a rough 0-4 start in the LCS Summer Split, Immortals have released League general manager Keaton Cryer and head coach Thomas “Zaboutine” Si Hassen. The situation within Immortals must have been dire to fire top management two weeks into the summer split. The spring split was not stellar either as they finished in 8th place. However, the organization’s struggles seem to have only gotten worse.
It was concerning when the Immortals started the suppers split without Jake “Xmithie” Puchero, Apollo Price and Nickolas “Hakuho” Surgent in the starting line up. Initially, Zaboutine had touted a 10 person roster as apart of the strategy, which raised many red flags. Immortals preceded to start the LCS season with a 0 – 4 and a 1-3 in Academy. This did not bode well for the 10 man roster strategy nor the coaching staff. The squad is currently tied for last with Dignitas
