SpaceX launches 58 more Starlink Satellites and 3 Planet SkySats

SpaceX sucssfully deployed its ninth bulk Starlink launch on Saturday June 13th. The satellites were transported via a Falcon 9 rocket. The Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida, USA. The constellation has grown by another 58 spacecraft.

Development of Starlink began in 2015. Starlink is a satellite constellation currently being developed and deployed by SpaceX. These satellites will provide internet access through the use of thousands of small satellites working in conjunction with ground transceivers.

3 SkySats were also launched. SkySats provide high resolution satellite imagery and videos of Earth. Elon Musk tweeted in April that Starlink would commence its private beta service in three months, and public beta in six months.
