Billionaire entertainer and designer, Kanye West, is reportedly dropping out of the 2020 Presidential race. Advisor, Steve Kramer, spoke to The Intelligencer, and said “He’s out.”
Kanye West, tweeted on July 4th that he was running for president. This was after he took an iconic photo with Billionaire entrepreneur, Elon musk. He continued his grandiose proclamation with an incredibly Kanye interview with Forbes Magazine. In the interview, West explained that he would run as an independent under “The Birthday Party” banner. He also explained his vision for a White House organizational model, based on the fictional country of Wakanda from the Black Panther movie.
In the interview, the former Trump supporter still spoke highly of Donald Trump, but was not so complimentary of Joe Biden.
“I’m not saying Trump’s in my way, he may be a part of my way. And Joe Biden? Like come on man, please.” Kanye West said, “You know? Obama’s special. Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special.”
We postulated that this may have been an attempt to siphon votes away from Democratic Presidential candidate, Joe Biden. However, as it turns out, Kanye was actually attracting voters away from Trump. Which could be one reason why he is now dropping out of the race.
Adding to the confusion, Kanye West has qualified to appear on Oklahoma’s presidential ballot. This is the first state where hehas met the requirements before the filing deadline. This leads to another plausible reason for the billionaires recent antics is more simplistic. TMZ also has reported that people close to the rapper are concerned that he is in the midst of a serious bipolar episode.
Chance The Rapper, recently had announced his support of Kanye’s Presidential dreams. Which would make a lot of sense, they are both God fearing, rappers from Chicago.
