What a week in League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). The 5 way tie for the second place team has been narrowed down to two squads. Team Liquid and TSM are the only teams holding on to the seat behind Cloud 9. Dignitas has yet to win a game this split and CLG has slipped to 6th place with a record of 4-4. Aphelios is still disgustingly strong. Super late breakdown this week so, lets get into it.
Cloud 9 continues to assert their dominance over the LCS. The C9 has not only gone undefeated in the summer split, they have only lost one regular season game this year. Cloud 9 continue to speed run the LCS, and seem to be on another level than the rest of the league. Team Liquid had a close game against the revitalized Immortals team and TSM has looked up and down. Cloud 9 however has continued to handily demolish every challenger placed in front of them
BibleThump. They have yet to win a game this split. After losing to 100 Thieves, in avery messy match, it is unlikely that the existing Dignitas squad will find a win this season. Fortunately, roster changes have been made. Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett was brought in to help the struggling team. That coupled with the replacement of Henrik “Froggen” Hansen for Kim “Fenix” Jae-hun could potentially give Dignitas a chance at their first “W”.
