Valerie “Master” Loureda defeated Tara “The Tiny Terror” Graff with a first round KO (punches) at Bellator 243. This was both Loureda’s third professional victory as well as her third victory inside Bellator’s cage. The 22-year-old flyweight had expressed post fight that the fight with Graff had become personal. Graff had stated on social media that Loureda was not setting a good example with how she carried herself outside of the cage.
“Of course it made it personal,” Loureda explained to media post fight. “I just didn’t answer her. I didn’t lower myself to her. I waited for the chance I got to fight when I was healthy so I could shut her mouth.”
After the dominant victory, a gradual step up in competition would be great to see. A fight with Kristina “Warhorse” Williams would agreeable as the American Elite MMA fighter has twice the number of fights as Loureda.
